One year since receiving stem cells for my lupus, and what a transformative journey it’s been.
My pain levels are now just an echo, only 10-20% of what they were. My mobility, flexibility, and range of motion have improved so drastically that it feels like a different lifetime

I can’t remember the last time I was able to remember my dreams as vividly as I am now. It feels deeply connected to giving myself permission to sit with sadness—without attaching a story. Each time I engage in this deep inner healing work, I notice a substantial decrease in my pain levels.

Giving myself space to feel sadness without attaching a story is one of the most challenging things I’ve done. But when I resist that urge and simply allow Without the weight of a story, the sadness is just energy, moving through me, asking to be felt.

Being seen can feel complicated when the fear of being sexualized clouds the experience.Overcoming this requires reclaiming your right to exist, free from the projections of others

Feeling the sadness in my body has opened a new portal of self-care, self-actualization, and empathy I don’t think I’ve ever experienced before. Allowing myself to truly feel the weight of it—not suppressing or dismissing it—has been incredibly freeing.

I wouldn’t trade my life here in Panama for anything. The peace, the beauty, the fulfillment I’ve found outweigh the conveniences I occasionally miss. Sure, there are moments when I wish for the speed or simplicity I once had, but those moments are fleeting compared to the richness of life here.
