This a big deal: "China’s carbon dioxide emissions have been flat or falling for 18 months"

China's economy has grown by ~5% in the last year, so this comprehensively debunks the idea (again) that emissions are tied to growth. So yes, faster progress needed, but this is how you turn the corner.

Meanwhile millions go hungry.

Millions more are about to lose healthcare.

I write about her, Canada's "100 Days" and the staggering price we paid to end the First World War.

Authoritarian parties can only succeed when the pro-democracy parties fail to fight for working people.

We need a new democracy and a new party system which can represent working people.

I needed a hysterectomy and multiple blood transfusions.

I was told that since I was young I would recover quickly.

I was told I would only need 4-6 weeks off work.

Then there was a complication ….

PM Carney makes it sound like we can insulate ourselves from Silicon Valley tycoons who genuflect to Trump and serve his authoritarian aims.

But how realistic is that as #BigTech hungers for our country?

He made 35k a year which was “too much” for Medicaid, but not nearly enough to cover insurance premiums

He had to ration his insulin & died a month after losing insurance
