That 2000 shit, right? Please get a clue.
Q: What is the Republican healthcare plan?

TRUMP: If the Democrats go along with it -- which they don't want to -- I want the money to be paid to the people to go out and buy their own healthcare.

Great. We have trollies that aren’t running in the tunnel, El and bus lines that routinely cancel trains and buses making it extremely difficult, and then there is the smell. I know this isn’t entirely their fault but this is screwing ridership.

Important to note that when asked by a student if joining the counterprotest would also be excused, she replied the protest had to be organized, so no that student would not be excused. As a prof, I winced at her answer.
"First reported by OU Nightly, Kelli Alvarez, an OU instructor, has been removed by the University’s administration after telling students that she would excuse any absence for attending today’s protest."

Students at Oklahoma University held a protest in support of the grad instructor.

Things I learned this week.

Trump thought the World Cup was American football.
Conservative talking heads have never seen a Looney Toons cartoon, including the Anamanics and Tiny Toons.

WTF?
"The Donald Trump administration has changed which holidays qualify for free entrance to national parks, removing two holidays celebrating Black people and adding the president’s birthday."
National parks change prioritizes Trump birthday over days honoring Black people
Free entrance days at national parks no longer include MLK Day and Juneteenth.

You know, I knew FIFA was corrupt, but I still loved football. And then Trump became president for the World Cup, and I really can't watch it now because the people kissing his ass make everything worse.

I challenge him to name the eight without a teleprompter, papers, or a lackey to aid him.
COLLINS: You're expected to get the FIFA peace prize. What you say to people who say it conflicts with your pledge to strike Venezuela?

TRUMP: I've settled 8 wars. I don't know that I'm getting it. I've been hearing about a peace prize and I'm here to represent our country. But I did settle 8 wars.

I swear I am going to add to my syllabus next semester, "Any question about what an essay is about that is asked the evening before the essay is due will not be answered". (The topics are on the syllabus, on canvas, and we go over them in class).

The heat goes on too high in the classroom making it too hot and then the air switches on making it too cold. C’mon.

That’s sad.
But good for you kestrel.

The scene is Jerusalem, some 2000 years ago. Mary is sitting in the manger, exhausted. The baby has been up all night, she finally got him to go to sleep.

A boy walking by sees her and thinks "what this woman needs is a drum solo."

A third thing that would be beneficial to track is the way that higher education is censoring student publications.

We had Indiana University earlier this fall and apparently, now University of Alabama is doing it to two of their student publications.

I like how the people defending that essay saying "there's nothing in the rubric about citations" as if The University of Oklahoma is the only college in the world without an academic integrity policy.

Oh wait, here's OU's plagiarism policy. The student is lucky neither instructor reported it.

The press will, largely, collude in supporting the University of Oklahoma student and obscure her hate rhetoric while ignoring that two co-teachers found her work subpar, not just the trans one they will focus on. Naturally she, and whoever's behind her, knew this and banked on it.

What the actual fuckstockings?

I didn't know at first that the professor is trans, but it was clear the essay was a setup to get rid of her - the playbook is obvious, now that they've used it so much. The prof knew too, hence the attempt to avoid it by having the 2nd prof agree. Her being trans makes the motivation so transparent

How do people not see that the entire OU essay thing is just an attempt by this girl and the Turning Point chapter to turn her into another Riley Gaines grifting on trying to push trans people out of society?
Here's what this is actually about, dumbass
