I don't understand this @theverge.com paywall at all. Is it on every page? Randomly pops up every few times? Or is it just on the pages I need to pay for? Can I get rid of it by signing in? Or do I need to pay for it to go away? I am *very online* and feel completely perplexed by it.

Yesterday marked ten years online for what I consider a "Fatherhood Hall of Fame" essay: @andy.baio.net's "experiment in forced nostalgia and questionable parenting," where he encouraged his son to play video games all the way from Pac-Man to the present day.

The best Bluey episode is the one where Bandit and Bingo find an abandoned jeep in the desert containing a skeleton, a bag with $800k, and a sniper rifle identical to the one used to kill JFK

There's an absolutely adorable child on this train reciting the alphabet and after K, he keeps going "ello mello P" and honestly his lusty affirmation of life, of hope, reminds me that once again I have forgotten to bring my fucking headphones.
