When I was a young kid in the early sixties my Dad, a Canadian army officer, made under $800/mo, five kids, Mum at home, & bought a house in ‘68 for under $13 grand. His friend was a shoe salesperson in Eaton’s Dept Store. He made a decent living, nice house, wife, kids! Can’t do that now!
Russian soldiers, had they encountered this poor and innocent bird in the same predicament, would quite likely have used it for target practice rather than save it. The Ukrainian people are not the Russian people!

Reservists would be a good idea. Even better, a well trained and equipped Ukrainian “police force” couldn’t hurt! Even better still…Putin should be taken to The Hague and tried for Crimes Against Humanity!

If this horrible, entitled, evil excuse for a woman ever testifies to what people were involved in the abuse of children & others it would only be under a promise of total immunity & clemency. With that she’d have to tell all her crimes under threat of being thrown back in prison for not doing so!

Only if that government is a totalitarian despotic one, doling out necessities as a means of control. A Social Democracy responds to its members needs for better not worse. If those members “need” to starve, be homeless, live in darkness, or remain in a limited space…then I stand corrected.
If the government feeds you, it can starve you.

If the government pays your utilities, it can turn them off.
If the government provides your transportation, it can decided where and when you go.

Highly likely that the ballroom will hide a huge bunker. The sheer size of this vanity project will necessitate a huge amount of concrete & rebar which in turn could camouflage the extra amount of those materials needed for a “roof” of a bunker hidden below. One big enough to house MAGA elites…?
