@mattcolville.bsky.social I was running another club at school today for grade 7-8. They were talking about dnd and I obviously had to suggest draw steel. One of the students asked if I’d supervise them at lunch sometimes and I agreed. I’ll definitely push draw steel on them (gently :) ).

I only just now realized he's calling Draw Steel the coming of 6th Edition D&D which is...it's a compliment (I mean, I assume it's a compliment??) beyond the scale of anything any of us imagined.

I have to say; having our own game, that is ours, that we made, and not just supporting someone else's game, where we have no control or influence over their customer service or quality control is such a game-changer. Folks haven't seen anything yet.
