The #TransitMonth2025 fun continues! We took the ACE train to The Tech Interactive in downtown San Jose, got lunch at San Pedro Square Market, and headed home on Amtrak’s Capitol Corridor. It’s great not having to deal with traffic or parking - biking and transit make the journey part of the fun! 🥳

Tomorrow is the last day of SJMade’s Little Shops Village outdoor market! The event is very transit-friendly (walking distance from Sunnyvale Transit Center @caltrain.com @vta.org), and there are bike racks too. It’s a fun way to log a ride for #TransitMonth2025 and support local small businesses! 🤩

I rode 5 different transit agencies today just going about my day!

- @rideact.bsky.social (not pictured) to get to a medical appointment
- ACE train to get to work
- @caltrain.com to get to an SJ Made festival after work
- @vta.org and @bart.gov to get back home!

Happy #TransitMonth2025 ! 😄

When you and the bestie participate in Dress to Impress on Transit Week, check out the Let’s Glow BART Anime Fest event, and bike for our last-mile connections! ✌🏼🚈🚲 We love @bart.gov, we love bikes, and we love #TransitMonth2025!

Biked to pick up my book order and dinner, and ran into @votealexlee.bsky.social and @alfredtwu.com at Alex’s community ice cream “town hall.” Thank you both for the work you do!

There's less than a week left of our sliding scale campaign!

Our goal is to have 150 people donate, whether it's $1 or $100 this month. All gifts help us make East Bay streets the best they can be.

We're on our way, but could use help before July 31. Donate at BikeEastBay.org/SlidingScale

Our family and community traditions grow more precious to me every year ♡

First time in my 10+ years of consistently donating blood/platelets that I passed out 😵‍💫😵

It was post-donation. One moment I was standing, I remarked, “I feel a little dizzy…” and the next thing I knew I woke up on the floor 😅

Staff took great care of me and no issues afterward except fatigue

Biked and took @bart.gov to meet my family at the county fair today! My favorite fair things: corn, strawberry lemonade, and the quilts 😍 #biketowherever

When we say "safe streets," we mean...🧵

We are deeply disturbed by the recent federal deployments and actions in Los Angeles, and the broader targeting of immigrant communities happening across the country. We stand against the violence and suppression happening in our public spaces.

Timely. At church today the pastor said some Christians use the gospel as a weapon. They may think they’re well-meaning but they’re actually inflicting harm to the people they’re interacting with. When we realize we’ve become this type of Christian we should repent and pray for wisdom and compassion

Thanks @rideact.bsky.social for getting us to the Burgers and Brews event hosted by the Fremont Chamber of Commerce yesterday! We could’ve carpooled but we didn’t really want to drive or deal with parking…so we didn’t! 😄🚏🚌

I was going to drive to work today bc I hadn’t prepared my bike stuff since returning from a trip last night, but my car wouldn’t start! After informing my supervisor of the situation, I prepped and rode my bike and got to work only 20 minutes late. Thankful for alternative modes and a safe route!

April 3rd! Mark the new date!
⚠️ With less than a week's notice, the major RSR vote has been postponed to April 3, per a request from the Metropolitan Transportation Commission and Caltrans.

Many folks had rearranged their schedules to be their next Thursday-- we apologize for the inconvenience and share the frustration.

🚨 Everyone needs to call their Dem Senator right now. They are starting to cave.

Tell them:
1. Vote NO on Cloture
AND
2. Vote NO on the Republican spending bill.

Don’t let them pivot to reconciliation. GOP doesn’t need Dem votes on that and they know it.

TODAY is the showdown.
