Illinois Gov. Pritzker to NBC:

"Governor Abbott is the joke. … He's literally helping whittle [democracy] away and licking the boots of his leader, Donald Trump."

"Trump is a cheater. He cheats on his wives, he cheats at golf, and now he's trying to cheat the American people out of their votes."

We elected a mobster.
Trump just said he's "allowed to give" convicted sex offender Ghislaine Maxwell a pardon.

He then adds: "Right now it would be inappropriate to talk about it."

Can we stop calling it a “culture war?” It’s not a “war” if some people say “be kind, everyone has a right to exist” and others say “you can’t make me.”

They've got enough money to throw us into another war, but not enough money to fund the suicide prevention hotline. Very "pro-life." Very "pro-family." So "GREAT."

The craziest thing about this fight between Trump and Elon Musk is that Republicans are trying to take away health care from 16 million people to pay for tax cuts for billionaires.

Because these people working two jobs who were struggling to pay for groceries and healthcare have it too easy, and these billionaires deserve a break.
The Trump administration on Friday unveiled fuller details of its proposal to slash about $163 billion in federal spending next fiscal year, offering a more intricate glimpse into the vast array of education, health, housing and labor programs that would be hit by the deepest cuts.

Someone give this guy an amateur wrestling league to promote and run. The worlds most powerful economy, global security, and the markets that rely on us shouldn’t be run like the WWE…
🇺🇸🇮🇷☢️President Trump said Sunday that the nuclear talks between the U.S. and Iran made "real progress" and he have "good news" about it later this week. My report on @axios.com

In a world where our word matters just as much as (and often propped up) our economic might, this is a quick way to lose both and ensure that no matter how much economic might we rebuild in the future means nothing without our word…

My wife is watching the Mets/Yankees broadcast on @espn.com and keeps commenting about how the broadcast team finds new ways to say nothing meaningful over and over. “They can just not talk…right?”

Vicious debates over critical race theory and DEI have centered education in U.S. politics. “Yet, these conversations are so often indifferent to the data showing that when it comes to academic learning and social development, too many children and teenagers are suffering,” Dana Goldstein writes.

I have to download ANOTHER app to watch the @mets.com? This is NOT how you grow a fan base, @mlb.com !! Also, if THIS is the poorly-written paragraph you’re announcing things with, it does NOT bode well for the broadcast!

On a recent trip to #CDMX, they closed down one of the city’s main thoroughfares for bikes, walkers, etc. There were city employees at each roundabout giving cars time to pass and making announcements about road safety. THIS is how you encourage #safestreets.
