The incompetence of the Trump administration is incredible.
Witkoff has now met Putin five times in long meetings without any own interpreter or assistant.
He seems to have misunderstood everything.

If the American Civil Society does not fix this in a quick and legal manner it will be a catastrophe for the #US. For #Ukraine it is a major challenge, for #Europe too. But #Ukraine has allies.
Let’s be honest. Does anyone think that this president would honour Article Five? Presence of US military & nuclear sharing still has value to Europe, but its deterrent value is significantly reduced & falling. This is reckless, dangerous behaviour by the Trump administration.
