Wee man's first birthday at the weekend, and my big plans to clean the house during his 3h naps have been dashed by him deciding he no longer naps.

In China, this work pattern is called 996, and it was outlawed because of the brutal toll it took on workers.

But maybe it's actually super rad, I don't know, I'm not a Telegraph editor.

It's too late, I've already depicted myself as so 3008 and you as so 2000 and late.

There's a rumour that Nigel Farage is keeping his head down because he's off to a Trump cheerleading conference over the weekend.

I’m afraid I’m being proved right- Farage is far more interested in Trump's success than British security. He is a bootlicker and a plastic patriot.

A cold morning in Scotland spent with a dog, a baby and some New Japan.

Mina and Mercedes was fantastic. And now Ishii is arriving and I'm fully expecting another MOTY contender from Takeshita 🤼

My wife and I are due in a few days. We sat together and read this tonight. It's such a beautiful piece.

I would really like there to be an acknowledgment of harms caused by all our legislation (and lack of legislation). A basic, respectful honesty.

Yes, if we change the law some vulnerable person will end up pressed into ending their life earlier. Yes, if we don’t change it, dying people will suffer

yes twitter sucked because of all the maga/nazi chuds, but an underrated amount of that was them barging in on talk abt movies, books, art, food, whatever. they infected every aspect of it, so if u were black, jewish, queer, trans, whatever, you couldn’t just live your digital life w/o dealing w it

I'm really liking Bluesky just now. Twitter and Threads are much bigger, sure, but is that a selling point? Is anyone saying that Bluesky would be better with another 300 million users?

If you're new to bluesky, we're trying to make it the norm that we all add alt text. You can toggle your settings to remind you every time you try to post an image. If you've not used alt text before, the point of it is for people who use screen readers (for vision problems but maybe other reasons?)

Myspace died, Facebook lost the youth, TikTok won video. The social media landscape has changed before and it'll change again. If the other place is cool with bigots and disinformation, I'm cool with moving on.

Yuta is killing it in this story. Putting the chair on Chuck's leg, only for Claudio to move it to the neck while Yuta squirms, was just a lovely story beat.

Or as lovely as a story beat can be when it's a story about a horrible murder 🤼
