The situation in #Sudan continues to deteriorate, with IPC confirming famine is spreading. The African Union and Western governments have to do more. Too much is at stake. #EyesonSudan
World’s leading body on hunger, the IPC, has just found that famine has spread in Sudan in Darfur and now in South Kordofan.

The news cannot come as a surprise.

In October in South Kordofan’s Nuba Mountains, we witnessed famine for ourselves.

This summer, #Kenya’s Gen Z protests resulted in #Ruto’s government reigning terror on its citizens. This level of state violence reoccurs because of the culture of impunity. @hrw.org and Amnesty’s report shows how there’s still no accountability for state crimes in the 2023 protests.
NEW: Kenyan authorities have failed to ensure justice for the killing of at least 31 people and other abuses by the police during protests throughout the country from March to July 2023.
