April 23, 1925 saw a clash between two brothers. The venue was the Polo Grounds, and the brothers were MLB pitchers Jesse and Virgil Barnes. Jesse Barnes was the starting pitcher for the Boston Braves. On the mound for his opponents was his younger brother, Virgil.
