I like to bake. My boss (I’m a nanny) had to work today. She asked if the kids just use screens all day if I’d bake for her. Sure! So the kids are watching tv and I’m currently making homemade pralines. Later the kids will help me make sugar cookies.

My parents (79,78) go to Costco about once a week. They buy a few thing and enjoy having a cheap lunch. They get the $1.50 hot dog and soda and a slice of pizza. My dad eats his pizza and my mom eats his crusts while he finishes her hot dog. It’s cute! 1/2

Sitting waiting for 11 year old girl I nanny for’s tennis lesson to start. She’s tall and wearing a tennis skirt. A group of older teenage boys (possibly late teens) walk by and check her out. Last week a grown man did it. So gross. She’s 11. Like just turned 11. Why are men like this?

My heart hurts trying to decide what to do about my Braves tickets. Renewing at the price they gave me isn’t an option. But damn, my other options, while more affordable, really suck.

This is what the stadium looks like on a weeknight after school goes back. So yes Braves, raise A list prices so people like me, who do show up, can’t afford to come any more.

Okay. It’s Monday. Life is back in routine. That was one of the worst weekends of my life. Bristol game (and people I traveled with) was a nightmare.

A friend of mine and I had planned to drive to Bristol together tomorrow for the speedway Braves game. After the game we had planned to drive halfway back and I have us a hotel booked. Then Sunday morning drive the rest of the way home. We hadn’t decided yet whose car we would take.

It’s been a week. I still am struggling to imagine myself without season tickets. Most of my adult life I’ve had them. I don’t know who I am without going to Braves games half the year.
Being dumped by the biggest love of your life hurts. But it’s particularly weird when it’s a baseball team.

My parents are on a cruise in Europe. They’ve been gone a week and have called me twice. Today’s call was so sad. They said they missed me so so much and were said I wasn’t with them. 🙄. I love them but man I’m enjoying a break from having to help them with so much.

The sales team hasn’t called or emailed me even after someone I know went and yelled at them that they made me cry. This is a break up I didn’t see coming but maybe it will be life changing.

Go to the All Star Village, celebrity softball game, home run derby, All Star red carpet, and All Star Game in 90+ degree heat for 4 days. Yes, I said to myself, that’ll be fun. Now I have a partial black eye, swollen feet, and a heat rash. I’m too old for this stuff.

Not naming names, and they aren’t on this app. But a friend agreed to drive me back to where I parked (at work) after the ASG. It ended over 25 min ago and he’s still not at our meeting point. Ahhhh
