So it looks like the 8 inches of snow yesterday brought a giant reindeer to the neighborhood and migrating Sandhill Cranes today. I saw 5 large groups while I was out shoveling more of the driveway.

Morning walk animal count: 5 dogs, 4 geese, 2 blue jays, 1 bunny, a whole bunch of sparrows, robins, mourning doves, red-wing blackbirds, and cardinals. The squirrels must have slept in because I didn't see any, and I usually do.
