We have some amazing historical exhibits at the U.S. Army Heritage and Education Center. Here is my team in front of the Global War on Terror exhibit. We have a 65 acre campus with a walking trail that will take you through period-specific installations like this. With the warmer weather, come by!

Such a great Hung Liu exhibition on art and propaganda (from the Mao era in China, and the cultural revolution) at the Georgetown University art gallery. Congrats to Dorothy Moss and her students.

I’d like to thank Dr. @katelemay.bsky.social for this episode on some of the unique wartime experiences of Normans caring for the dead and some who risked their lives and safety to care for the living as they sheltered stranded aircrew members until they could get back with the American forces.

Had a special trip recently to the WWII Homefront Museum, Saint Simons Island, GA. The Coastal Georgia Historical Society is responsible for this historic museum. Beautifully curated—and MAPS!! I was in my happy place.

I love this 3-minute CSPAN video giving so much insight into the history of Hawaii (and how white people stole it, ofc). Curator and historian Kate LeMay of the National Portrait Gallery puts it all together – art history and a historian's insights. Twitter URL to watch: twitter.com/cspanhistory...

A great podcast and what an opportunity to speak about “1898: U.S. Imperial Visions and Revisions”—Michael is a first rate historian and this is high praise. 🤓🙏🏼
This was one of my favorite podcast interviews: Kate Clarke Lemay (historian) and Taína Caragol (curator of Latino art) both at the Nat. Portrait Gallery in DC. 🎨

Their exhibit 1898 ⚓is transnational and comparative history at its best.
