You should hate Nazis more than you love convenience.

So many folks bemoaning how powerless they are re: the rise of fascism are actively funding it via their use of Substack and AI, by refusing to wear an n95, by ignoring transphobia, &c.

You have power. You just prefer convenience and comfort.
NEW: Since giving NYT hacked info from a Nazi and sending a swastika push alert, Substack's extremism is in the spotlight again. An investigation finds Substack is a haven for newsletters dedicated to white supremacy—with the co-founders' blessing.

A collab between @katz.theracket.news and me:
Substack’s extremist ecosystem is flourishing
The app's recent swastika push alert was just the tip of the iceberg.

You don't have to "look into it". You have to admit that you thought it was a cool idea to get rid of actual humans because they cost money, and instead used a plagiarism shitshow that makes up absolute garbage, inflicting a huge environmental cost on the planet that doesn't touch your bottom line.
We are looking into how this made it into print as we speak. It is not editorial content and was not created by, or approved by, the Sun-Times newsroom. We value your trust in our reporting and take this very seriously. More info will be provided soon.
