The people who have been appointed to or elected to positions of power must stand up for integrity.

Four years is a significant fraction of the time I have left on this planet. I resolve not to be outraged at things I can't change, to hope that the new administration is successful (jobs, economy) and that they don't do too much damage to vulnerable people, the environment, or our democracy.

Detailed article about PRI and the Museum of the Earth's current struggles. If the museum closes it may be the largest collection dispersed/lost in the US (with 7 million specimens it is one of the 10 largest in the US).

I finished quilting my evolution quilt yesterday. Still needs to be trimmed and to add a binding. And lots of basting threads removed from the back. I'll post better pictures when it's done.
