Truth over opinion. Climate politics and economy (failing alternative to science & policy). Hope can only help when we realize that there are viable alternatives to our political/economic dystopia.

this is like saying there’s nothing wrong with pollution, or there’s nothing wrong with deforestation…
There absolutely is something wrong with humans thinking they can change the climate however they want, regardless of how it affects other people, animals, plants, and survival for the future

Maybe intelligence in this case is shorthand for 'the only species able to manipulate its environment to such a great extent'?

Maybe, we don't know for sure. We're doing all kinds of things (incl. leaving nuclear waste) that could tip life over. But in any case my point is that it's so often just about us and our future, with disregard for the other, all innocent, life forms whose existence and future we're wrecking.

Even if 95% of all species die, there will be new vibrant ecosystems in 5-30 million years. With new types of animals and plants. This is how it has always been after every mass extinction. I find this fact very comforting.

The earth will be fine?
What gets me is humanity's extraordinary arrogance. The other millions of species on earth, that we are busy harming and destroying at speed, would tell us, if we cared to pay attention, that they are not and will not be fine!

Yes people can sometimes confuse concepts when they use the same measurement unit (degrees of temperature for example).
For example 3 degrees of warming doesn’t sound bad but if a human body’s temperature increases by 3 degrees then the human will die instantly.
Planets are similar.

There's nothing inherently wrong with climate change. It's just that the ecosystems and built environments that we depend on as life support systems aren't equipped to handle the rapid changes. So if we want to live, we should deal with climate change ASAP.

In this case it is about republishing without licence. So if a song (or its lyrics) gets published in the web without getting the ok from the licence holder this is copyright infringement and you become liable. Same with any streaming service and in this case KI repeating close enough lyrics online.

Chronic disappointment can train the brain to expect pain instead of reward. Restoring hope means reawakening dopamine through small actions, enriched environments, and new desire.
