I've been thinking about the parable of the Good Samaritan. If people saw you being threatened by violent thieves but shrugged and walked away without helping, would you understand them and not hold it against them?
I voted for the sad, demoralizing choice of harm reduction at home. I understand why people didn’t vote and I don’t hold it against them.
