I think a lot of fans are anxious about not winning the title this season not because of what rivals will say etc but because we might not get the chance to improve the squad without some major outgoings due to lack of silverware

In the spirit of everyone being extremely welcoming and willing to chat on here and it being the middle of an international break, could I ask those following me to tell me how they got into supporting the clubs they do? Was it a parent? A relative? School friends? Something else?

With football Twitter rapidly reassembling here, one plea to help leave the toxicity behind: your football club is not a person. It doesn't have feelings, it doesn't experience disrespect. Love your club by all means, but recognise that it does not need you to fight for its honour on social media.
