I needed to be reminded of the spiritual axiom tonight: "every time we are disturbed, no matter what the cause, there is something wrong with us". NO MATTER WHAT there is something wrong with me. Which means I’m either worrying about the past or trying to control the future. So simple. So hard.

This was surprisingly enjoyable.
And I feeely admit that I have a major crush on The Rock - AND … my feel good vibes about this movie was more than just his sexy, funny self.
Is this the new Christmas movie tradition for us?
Maybe.
And maybe water dripped from my eyes too 🤩

What’s the difference between sobriety and recovery? For me sobriety is the emergency room after an accident. It’s the critical stuff you need to stay alive. Then what you do next is up to you. Do you put in the daily work to heal and grow stronger? Or not? It’s a daily choice. That’s recovery.

I just celebrated 10 years of continuous sobriety on October 2.

Just wrapped up 12 trifectas and 41 races in my Spartan Lifetime stats.

Feeling sober, fit and full of swagger.
