Word of advice - when you are in an overwhelming situation, don't let it sit and fester for years before you tell someone out of fear of being a burden or placing more on their shoulders. Give them the opportunity to help you as soon as you can for both your sakes.

Child 2 is coming home from uni for a bit next week. I ask if there's any special food requests - weirdly, it's beef stew. Spent the early hours looking at local shop beef prices and all I can say is #thethingsyoudoforlove. Contacting my bank for a second mortgage.

One of the many things you never hear about #menopause is the crazy #foodcravings. It's like being pregnant all over again. Not kidding - in four days I have eaten the entirety of a large jar of spicy sweet pickles - I hate sweet pickles. Last week, it was a giant burger - I rarely eat red meat.

Absolute Highlight of the #Halloween evening was the young boy who dressed up as the flags of Sweden, Denmark, and Norway. He painted cardboard and wore Denmark on the front, Norway on the back, and Sweden on his head. This kid is a treasure and must be protected at all costs #fredericton

I sold my too small condo a couple of years ago and, being priced out of the local market, bought a minihome. It's a relatively new make and I cannot for the life of me understand why they insist on making them "depression caves". There is NO sufficient LIGHT lol. Not natural, not artificial #SAD
