Epstein Survivor Lisa Phillips: Everyone makes it about Trump and Epstein, but it’s about this whole ring of men. That’s what makes me upset, because we know they were there. We saw them. We know there were royalty, princes, very powerful people in academia and tech, and we saw them at parties.

Our federal tax dollars are being used to fund a network of government social media accounts that pump out disinformation 24/7. Even during a government shutdown. It’s definitely not essential work.

I'm still thinking about this piece after reading it last night

Feels like the sort of thing that should be required reading in high school
Every few months now I re-read this "Who Goes Nazi?" piece from 1941 and am blown away by how it captures the people we are dealing with 80 years later.

Not sure if this is reasonable? Flip it to test it. Imagine putting up statues to honor a woman who talked about how men don’t deserve human rights, white people have poor cognitive capacities, Christians are evil, cis people are an abomination, and heterosexual people should be stoned to death.
We were just getting around to tearing down Confederate Monuments that both glorified the American slavocracy and served as a warning and reminder of continued white dominance.

Now we are erecting new Confederate Monuments.
