People have asked me why don't I just use ghost.org for my blog as I'm already paying to use HEY! World, well its all due to cost.

HEY! World: $99 USD p/yr = $155 AUD
Ghost: $180 USD p/yr = $276 AUD.

Simply for a place for me to write content it isn't worth it plus people can email me on hey.

Why is it that if I want to change my password on a government website for my public transport account I can't use a VPN? I mean I'm already logged into the service which has identifying information.

SUNDAY RANT: Creating content on a football team and staying up to date is getting increasingly hard to do it without being in Googles ecosystem I am quite literally hindering myself for privacy and security gains but it's making me less productive.

I wrote an article titled 'Google's Forcing Users To Find Alternatives' — it's about the current state of the companies stranglehold on modern society and them moving for more control over their users.

Google's Forcing Users To Find Alternatives
I don't normally like to write all doom and gloom posts but the fact of the matter is Google after it's recent lawsuits of being a monopoly for search, online advertising, web browser, android to name...

META's platforms are such a joke I can't enable 2FA on the accounts or change the password because it send the code to an email address that is old and no longer on the account.

Again big companies shipping broken products to end users #meta #facebook #instagram

As a Leipzig fan went to the game, had to get rushed to hospital and sadly passed away at the hospital during today's DFB Pokal game against Energie Cottbus I will be making a segment in the podcast for a moments silence.

Condolences to the friends and family of that fan #FCERBL

I give a lot of crap to Mozilla with how they destroy Firefox by doing a ‘one step forward two steps back‘ mentality to their web browser but this is a win for the browser and more importantly the end user.
