Finally picked up Clair Obscur, And as someone who has never really played a souls game, timing the Dodges and stuff takes some getting used to.

The country may be a shit show but lighting some fireworks to the cheers of my youngest (and some neighbors) brought me back to memories with my dad.
No kings in America, and FDT but seeing my youngest enjoy the booms (with hearing protection) was still a happy moment amongst the all the bad.

Tonight was the third full session of Fabula Ultima (fourth if counting sesh 0). My eldest finally was able to join.
While the youngest just loves rolling the dice and punching the bad guys, it is going really well.
Relatively video gamey, in the right ways, and silly, but lots of fun to run.

I have a modded arcade1up machine to the raspberry pi in it, and today I added features and parts to where the on off switch that came with it works and the volume switch that came with it works.

With the executive order and how the whole thing is based on lack of enforcement of the law, this is not how this should be happening.
We need comprehensive data privacy and protection laws that would solve almost all issues that they claimed to be worried about

The fact Marvel Snap got caught up in the ban too made me laugh, but I will say, once more for the people in the back, Facebook, Insta, twitter, Google, all of them do more with your data than anything TikTok did.

I worked in advertising technology. They claimed to worry about security, but the information American companies have on Americans can be just as bad or even worse.

Today I got my most recent mission patches from our last satellite launch. I didn't even really know that was a thing before joining the company last Jan.
Not sure what 2025 has in store, but I look forward to facing it head on and trying to make it better.

During an all hands meeting going over the year in review, lots of people were wearing Ugly Christmas sweaters and things, so I grabbed a string of addressable LEDs and a controller, and got it strung into my beard.
