Finally getting over my writer's block and writing for the new Jupiter Kirk album. 9 songs in the works for the full length, still doing that deathrock-meets-beastmilk thing.

I'll keep trying my hardest to make my own drums sound as real as possible, but this here is something I have really enjoyed in my deep dive into goth music. It's almost relieving.
One of my favorite things about deathrock / goth music in general is how nobody gives a fuck about using drum machines. It's refreshing after a lifetime in metal / punk where I was constantly hearing about how it's "too fake".

Question for musicians and fans who use #bandcamp : I'm considering releasing my records on bandcamp ahead of their streaming release, half to reward early adopters, and half to shift focus to bandcamp who just pays better. Any of you ever did that ? Would you, as fans, prefer it ?
