On 20 March 2025, Trump’s NIH terminated a grant exploring structural racism as a second hit on APOL1 in kidney disease.

I try not to pay too much attention to metrics, citations, etc. but I was quite pleased to see the first citation of our review on #SyndromicSurveillance for #AnimalHealth in a #preprint addressing the House of Commons Public Accounts Select Committee 😄

We found that for some #bacteria 🧫 , connectivity between hospital wards is as / more important for explaining #AMR as antibiotic consumption, especially for highly resistant 🏥 endemics
