In 2018. I spent almost a week at the Joshua Tree Inn in room #7 which was Gram Parson's room. Joshua Tree, CA. I have others somewhere. I could feel his presence.

These birds are just amazing. Sandhills have been around for millions of years. If you haven't read Aldo Leopold, you ought to.

I have had a sore right heal for a month or so....thought it was a sprain. Turns out it is a small hairline fracture. I have to wear a boot for 5 weeks. (Obviously, I take it off when I am in abed and sleeping!!! It's still bummer...) BUMMER!!!!😫😩
