Seriously?
COPENHAGEN, Denmark (AP) — The Aalborg Zoo in Denmark is asking for donations of small pets as food for its predators.
It offers assurances the pets will be “gently euthanized” by trained staff. “Nothing goes to waste — and we ensure natural behavior (and) nutrition.”

Opinion: We must expand our understanding of what fear can look like for sexual-assault victims
Ruling in the Hockey Canada trial sends the message that if a person does not clearly demonstrate a certain kind of fear, their consent is valid under the law and their credibility is diminished

The verdict in the Hockey Canada Trial - not guilty on all counts - illustrates perfectly how the justice system systematically fails victims of sexual assault. There is no justice in this outcome for EM or for Canadian society.

If you have ever asked a woman why she didn’t report a rape or sexual assault, or why she chose not to press charges, take a look at the Diddy trial, the Hockey Canada trial, Brett Kavanaugh’s confirmation hearing … we don’t report because we know how often it goes like that.

Heartbroken to read about the judge's remarks on the victim in the Hockey Canada trial. Regardless of the legal outcome, they are sure to put a chill on other sexual assault victims in the future.

IMO, the Hockey Canada verdict is a joke. The Defence orchestrated the events/situations that led to two juries being dismissed, paving the way for a judge-only trial. I am convinced this has been a back-room deal setup from the very beginning.

Disappointed but not surprised by the outcome of the hockey Canada trial. Our culture hates survivors of sexual assault SO much. I hope EM is able to find peace

No one on the hockey side of this, including the many many people not on trial, did the right thing at any point. Those who cooperated did so to save their own necks and distract from the fact that they were in the roo and walked away

I am disgusted and appalled at the judge’s decision in this trial. This is not justice. The victim was credible, as any victim of sexual assault, including myself, could clearly see.

Shame on the hockey players who assaulted her and on Hockey Canada.
