As I’ve explained: one of the best ways to protect your heart health is to keep up with your Covid and flu vaccinations. Don’t listen to antivaccine activists they don’t care about you or your family www.nytimes.com/2025/10/29/w...

This is how they claim you were 'over the line'. They pull you over and start the riot for themselves.
This video from Portland is a metaphor for what is going on in America. ICE trying so hard to get Americans to cross a line and if they don't, dragging them across the line and violently attacking.

Kelly: "You gotta remember in Trump's big legislation they added $4t to the debt to give a big tax cut for wealthy people on the backs of the American people & what their healthcare costs. That's why these [subsidies] have gone away. They didn't want it to be $6t. They wanted it to just be $4t."

Went to downtown DC to watch them remove the Black Lives Matter mural and wrote about how the removal of such symbols reflects government policy priorities. How the removal of the BLM mural reflects the administration’s desire to remove Black people and history from large segments of American life.

It's March. Here's My Review of Some Christmas Candy I Found At the Goodwill.
It is March. I am standing in my kitchen in my PJs, eating Christmas candy that I purchased from the Goodwill. To be clear, it was not my intention to be eating yuletide-themed confections on the prec...

I was set to launch my book at the Carter Library next month.

This week, we were told all events now need approval from the National Archives. The next day, my event was forced to relocate.

A book about the working homeless. A book about civil rights. Apparently these topics are now off limits.

in the trump administration, “merit” is pronounced “white” like how strom thrumond said it.
Just look at these paragraphs from the AP story.

Hegseth called Brown unqualified solely because he's Black. Then they fired him... and replaced him with a white guy so indisputably unqualified that he requires a Presidential waiver.

This is what "merit" means to them.

It is perfectly legal to know your rights and to educate others about them, too.

EVERYONE in the United States, citizen or not, has rights. I will not allow this administration to intimidate us from helping you know about them.

Two things worth their weight in gold:
- a great handyperson, and
- an auto mechanic you really trust.

Have had the second for a long time and finally found the first. It’s a good day. 🎉

I honestly believe our most powerful position in a toxic time that feeds on cynicism, apathy,& despair is to genuinely care and act for a better world.

Cynicism is our enemy. We should check it, incl. on the left. It’s not intellectually superior. It’s the virus they’re trying to infect us with. NO
