Today's a good day to reach out to the trans people in your life. Every day is, but today especially they need to know that you're in their corner.
The beavers have clearly been hiding beyond the back of Professor Digory Kirke's wardrobe.

Does no one read anymore?
Some good news.

“A wild beaver has been spotted in Norfolk for the first time since beavers were hunted to extinction in England at the beginning of the 16th century.”

160 years ago today, the 13th Amendment was ratified to end slavery, with one major exception: punishment for a crime.

The legacy of slavery lives on as people behind bars are still coerced into working for mere pennies or nothing at all.

It's long overdue to abolish slavery in all its forms.

This is the closest I'll ever get to putting a sweater on Murphy.

I also now want to paint that bookshelf blue after adjusting the color of the photo.

Remember folks, during winter every ten degree temperature drop lowers your tire’s PSI by 1 so it’s very important to go to the gas station and notice that the air thing doesn’t work and then do that five more times at five different gas stations

This made me so sick to my stomach.

What the actual fuck are we doing here?

This is so morally and ethically repugnant. Everyone involved has lost their humanity, if they ever had it in the first place.

While I welcome any support for education and investing in our kids’ future, I will never support vouchers. That includes any measures that siphon off scarce public K-12 school dollars to benefit private and parochial schools. That’s why I am a no here. coloradosun.com/2025/12/05/c...

There is blood on the hands of Donald Trump, RFK, and every Republican who has allowed this sham to go on for far too long. When kids die unnecessarily and once-eradicated diseases darken the doors of terrified families and pediatricians, Americans will know who is responsible.

Aoife knows I'm trying to trick her into a carrier and I hate that cats are so smart.

With dogs, you just convince them they're going for a walk. Easy peasy.

Bad news, Aoife is on to my ways of trying to get her to take gaba and I forgot about her love of nog until after I drank the two gulps left in the carton.

I have the carton upside down in the fridge in the hope that I can give her some gaba-laced nog and cream cheese in the morning.

The nicest thing I can say about Hickenlooper was that he was worse as governor, and that's only because we actually heard from him during those years.
It’s not too early to think about the midterms!
