There was a Cybertruck at Lowe’s, presumably to pick up cybernails and some cyberplants.

Happy “New Amphetamine Dose” Day to all those who observe.

Just popped over here to tell everyone that, yes, the other place is still very much insufferable.

Ray is adjusting so well to middle school ball. He played the whole game in right field today and laced a single to left in his only at-bat. He's seen two strikes in his two at-bats this year and put both in play. It was also a blessing that his grandparents were all there to see it. What a guy!

If we had not taken Pax home, he'd still be out there tagging out kids from the Reds. I'll have to check with the Elias Sports Bureau, but early reports indicate that he recorded the first ever unassisted quadruple play in T-Ball Opening Day history. Love watching this kid and his love for baseball!

Y’all, this kid…

I don’t know how I’m just now reading this, but man, what a mind on CS Lewis.

This baby boy is 6 years old today. So much energy, so much silliness, and Pax LOVES his sports. I can’t wait to see what God has in store for Pax!

Ray's team didn't win today, and he didn't get in the game. But when his team scored its first run of the season, my boy Raymond was one of the first to greet his teammate. And that's the kind of man we're trying to raise.

Pax has an extra hole in his face!

These Stormlight Archive books are so … dense. “Wind and Truth” is my favorite yet, but Sanderson packs so much into each page, it’s tough to move fast. What’s it like to be THAT type of smart?

Another Valentine’s Day dinner with this beauty. I don’t know what I did to get this lucky, but I’m glad I did it.

Listen, my kids have done a lot of cool stuff because they’re great. But I’d be lying if I said that finding out my boy Raymond made the middle school baseball team didn’t hit different. We’re so proud of this guy, who is also in his second school play. Go Mustangs!!

A sport’s season doesn’t begin until the regular season games start.

I would be interested in seeing the overlap on a Venn Diagram of “people who complain about every Super Bowl halftime show” and “people who assured us they’d never watch another NFL game like 5 years ago.”

If you needed a reason to distrust capitalism, keep in mind that not a single person ever wants to talk to an automated message when we call customer service, and yet we just have to because profit margins.

“I think of them little, and when I do, I think little of them.”

This man Brandon Sanderson is cooking in “Wind and Truth.”

I mean, eggs are getting more expensive, but at least kids have to watch their friends get dragged out of school and deported, right?

You know what isn’t down? The ability to write your own content.

I’m trying not to get too upset about “Trump 2: Somehow Even Dumber.”

It’s not that I don’t care or that I don’t recognize the dangers. But I spent the first four years of this raging against the nonsense, and it accomplished nothing but making me miserable. I’ll do what I can that’s tangible.

This was such a fun book. If you’ve ever enjoyed Crichton, historical fiction or tales of the Wild West, give Dragon Teeth a shot.

I, for one, think “Paper Trail” is a lovely name for a child.
On FB I said I'd call my firstborn Superunknown, but I'd also go for "In Times New Roman..." as well, curious what others would have 🤭
