Mayor Pete is so appalled he’s cursing.
I’ve never seen Pete this angry and rightfully so. Trump and his administration are incompetent and they are putting this country in danger. Unbelievable fuckup.!

Folks, if you haven’t read books by @angelinamlo.bsky.social, I’m telling you to RUN, not walk (unless you can’t, like me) and go get yourself something by her. Anything, really. She does NOT miss. Her stories make you swoon and cry and feel and laugh. She’s a master of the craft. ❤️

Not gonna lie, hearing the sounds of my man vacuuming, doing dishes, and taking care of laundry while I’m up in my office working is the *sexiest* background noise EVER. I feel like I’m *in* a romance novel and not just editing one! ❤️🥰

A quick resistance task:
1. Google Gulf of Mexico
2. “Gulf of America" is the top
3. Click on the three little dots to the right of it
4. Select "Send Feedback"
5. Click on "Gulf Of America"
6. Select "Inaccurate content"
7. Select "Incorrect" and type in "The correct name is “Gulf of Mexico"

To celebrate my negative Covid test (finally)), I’m sampling three different ice creams, two kinds of cookies, one almond croissant, a bag of @benandjerrys.bsky.social cookie dough mix, and, of course, a feel-good romance. It’s good to taste again.

Hey #booksky, let's try to keep our inclusivity up by using Alt txt when you post book covers. Doesn't have to be a big description, just "book cover of TITLE by Author, showing a blue sky and farm background with a couple kissing in the front" 💙📚 🌶📚

A gay guy, a Black man, and a woman walk into a flight deck— that’s not the beginning of a joke, but just a regular day at work! There was so much DEI on this plane that we could hardly get in the air. Luckily my limp wrists were able to wrestle the heavy jet back to the ground 💅🏼

Not that I’m glad to have #Covid (it has sucked sooooo hard), but now that I’m feeling slightly better I may be able to read some of the endless #romance novels in my TBR pile. And of course I’ve been scrolling and just “downloading to kindle” where the mood strikes. Phew, work’s cut out for me!

Since we’re talking about how much billionaires suck again, here’s a reminder that your local indie bookstore deserves your business this holiday season. They have gift cards and are happy to mail stuff out. Same goes for @bookshop-org.bsky.social. Buy books. Give books. Support bookstores.

1) category romance is bad

This is how you become a writer: just pick one of the things that is deeply wrong with you. Make it a character. Now send it on a self-help journey or try to kill it. Now call it a book.
