Was in Belgium visiting family/sightseeing and was lucky to get a taste of Belgian comics culture in Brussels.

Visited the three floor (with comics library!) museum, saw a few comics murals, and picked up a few albums for myself.

Today’s pickups courtesy of the Atomic Records pop-up: 2 comps, one with Milw. bands, one of post-punk NYC scenesters, taking a flyer on the Garland Jeffreys LP, and have seen “(We Don’t Need This) Fascist Groove Thang” referenced a few times recently so felt like stumbling on a copy was kismet

Seeing early performances by Christopher Walken and Jeff Goldblum (both verrrrry much in precursors to what they’re known for) was an added bonus, Sigourney Weaver is there too but you really have to look hard
Watching ANNIE HALL (1977) and thinking while the events of the movie unfold, Television or the Talking Heads are playing at CBGB, totally different worlds separated by a few miles
