"We are the party of fiscal responsibility" says Mel Stride, whose party famously triggered a bond market meltdown which crashed the UK economy and plunged the pound to its lowest ever level against the dollar

Really feeling the improvements in the NHS. 12-18 months ago, it was a 2 week wait for a blood test from appointment, today I was able to have the blood tests immediately after my appointment.

This is very odd analysis. Most of the Government's problems are the fault of the party that was in charge for 14 out of the past 15 years. The Conservatives never stopped blaming their predecessors. Why would Labour after less than a year?
Chris Mason: Labour is still blaming the Conservatives
A year on from the election, the government needs to demonstrate delivery to claw back some popularity.

Calling Zelensky a “Dictator” must be where the line is drawn.

It is my sincere hope that the whole political spectrum in the United Kingdom will speak with one voice in opposition to Trump’s lies.

Still internalising the Vance Munich speech. A sitting Vice President goes to Europe, barely says a word about the despotic murderous regime which has invaded its neighbour, and instead lectures his allies about freedom of speech. It’d be funny if it weren’t so serious.

Keir's Starmer's spokesperson asked if the PM is "concerned" about being at the G20 rather than being in Downing St for the farmers protest tomorrow

Meet for key discussions with world leaders, or hang around to hear Jeremy Clarkson outside your house abusing you through a megaphone. A real dilemma
