arts_midwestMinnesota bikers are renowned for biking through sleet, snow, and cold weather. But these cyclists are bringing a different version of chill to bicycling: “party pace” rides, accompanied by a live DJ spinning from the back of a bike trailer. Throughout the spring and summer, hundreds of riders participate in these group rides, complete with pop-up dance parties on the streets of Minneapolis. It’s the brainchild of the Joyful Riders Bike Club and local bike shop Perennial Cycle. We love when creativity rolls through our neighborhoods, lights up the night, and brings people together in the most unexpected, joyful ways!Videographer: Ellie HohulinView all comments

Hey, all! There's an increased risk of E. coli in the lakes after heavy rain, like we're experiencing today. For that reason, we're considering a Plan B for tomorrow that will still be TONS OF FUN! Either way, we'll meet up at Fulton tomorrow at 12 p.m. and go for a slow-paced social ride together.

And...this beautiful bike was stolen this morning. There aren't a ton of Yuba Fastrack's out there...please keep an eye out. Light blue, integrated back rack (multi-position), and the thief does not have a key to the battery.
