Honestly, if every bowl game put in 50% of the effort as the Mayo or Pop Tarts bowl, it would fix the entire bowl season.

There is no “good” reason to be betting on individual pitches no matter where you set the limit. That is sickos only stuff that encourages users to be little gambling gremlins and all the hotline numbers can’t disguise that.
This is a move by sportsbooks and MLB, like many of its moves, to give an air of a correction while no correction is actually made
