Would anyone who’s a whiz with Illustrator (and/or vector-based illustration generally) be interested in some logo design work? I have a mockup and some specific ideas for what I want, but my Illustrator skills are totally abysmal and I’d rather pass this off to a professional artist.

I made sloppy joes from the canned stuff — a flavour I haven’t had since I was at least a teenager. Compared to the homemade ones I did a few months ago I am pleased to say that the recipe I used ended up tasting about identical to the canned sauce, and I’d dare say mine was even a bit nicer.

I’d say other things about the last 24 hour hours were it not for the "free speech absolutists," but it’s deeply funny to me to have a great outcome in NYC at the same time another architect of our current problems checked out early. Typical Republicans, leaving before the consequences hit them.

I dreamed last night that I baked a sour cream and strawberry cake — something I certainly have no waking recollection of knowing about, but lo and behold I searched and it is indeed a thing. I don't bake much and get nervous when I do, but this was absolutely delicious. Thanks dream Joshua!

Hypothetically speaking, if someone watched enough hobbyist maker videos about 3D printing robots at home that they become obsessed with making tiny self-articulating ones but don't know much about soldering or programming Arduino boards or how to get started, how would they get started? 👀

Oh wild I can’t believe Joe Biden is still forcing websites to take down things the government has an issue with like during a pandemic when they asked platforms to take some responsibility about misinformation — oh, he’s not president anymore and conservatives are just hypocrites? Went to a MIGW event tonight and the entire time I was itching to go home to get back to work on this current concept I’ve been doing this week and I haven’t felt that way about a project in a very long time. That’s a nice headspace to have.

Went to a MIGW event tonight and the entire time I was itching to go home to get back to work on this current concept I’ve been doing this week and I haven’t felt that way about a project in a very long time. That’s a nice headspace to have.
