Since I have defended and supported the WaPo in the months since the election and the infamous pulled endorsement, I feel obliged to say: this is very, very bad. A dear friend at a Post vet says it's the worst thing to happen to the Post in its long history, and I can't argue.

The City of Salem has worked to make an overwhelmingly successful temporary outdoor dining program a permanent part of the City.

The narrower streets here also slow traffic in this densely packed historic neighborhood creating a safer more enjoyable experience for pedestrians.

No. This entire ‘issue’ is a right-wing trap, using rare hypotheticals to distract from Republicans’ failure to address real problems like healthcare, housing, and wages. Trans kids aren’t a prop, and I guarantee Americans aren’t interested in Democrats handwringing over this.
