Exposure to accurate reporting over the dire plight of people in Gaza resulted in 5% bump in those in Israel who supported aid convoys.

Development aid is often seen as a counterinsurgency tool. But do civilians always credit the government or aid agencies for these projects? In my new article at JOGSS, I argue that armed groups can hijack the reputational benefits of aid by claiming credit for its distribution.
