I was so scared to tell my family about my transition. I hadn’t seen them in almost a decade. All I felt was love, acceptance and support. So thankful right now that I made this decision, I was not in a great place for a long time (the reason for our lack of contact) & I wouldn’t be here otherwise.

Cannot agree more. I’ve never wanted to physically show up and stand up against something….until now.

It seems like disconnecting would be the easiest way to maintain some form of optimism about the future of our country …..and then I realize I cannot bury my head in the sand and expect to survive in times like these. Eyes up, we can and will get through these shenanigans.

In the ER with my 14 y/o and she just asked me if she farts during her X-ray if the atoms from her gas will show in the X-ray. This is why we have kids lmao
