My girlfriend realized this week that our ring doorbell says "motion detected at front door" instead of "person detected at front door" it is a Cat 90% of the time and now I get texts like this constantly and I low key love it so much

1/ The US Government has quietly removed a memorial to Black soldiers who died in World War II from the Netherlands American Cemetery in Margraten, South Limburg. The move follows a complaint from the right-wing Heritage Foundation to the American Battle Monuments Commission. ⬇️

I think Peter Dinklage is fantastic. I would absolutely get on his last nerve. He'd be looking for the door while we spoke.

I miss having an active band 😮💨 Any Philly local musicians trying to be a lead guitarist or bassist so I can get Dead Robins up and running again? We were fun and established ourselves pretty well in the scene, but the pandemic killed local shows and band members moved out of state in its wake

Another successful evening of Trick or Treating is in the books! This year we ventured back down to Fairmount since the Spud only recently stopped living there and it's always a great neighborhood for trick or treating!

I hate that I've become a late 30s "adult" that is too tired/broke to pull off proper Halloween. I have no costume and no plans beyond trick or treating with the kiddo when shes done school. Halloween is on a Friday night, leading into a full weekend, and I made zero Halloween related plans. Lame.

And one more thing I forgot to mention, the USDA is not only holding their contingency funds for SNAP, but telling every state that if they use their own state funds to cover their SNAP benefit residents, they won't be reimbursed for it from the USDA. This is cruel, heartless & inhumane.
