As an ex Fleet Street hack, I'm a news junkie.

I have watched him appearing before Parliament several times, and he is certainly not intellectually or of a character to be in charge of Playschool, never mind the #BBC. #r4today

A vital part of the modern "journalist" tool kit is that mysterious population list.
I've never seen it, but evidently it lists the population of every English city, town, and village.
It allows them quickly to say: "foreign town X has the same population as Scarborough".

Proof (were it needed) that almost all the reporting staff of the Daily Fail are ignorant.
They must be if their “Chief Reporter” says (wrongly) in his first para, that Deborah Turness was “fired” and then says in his next para that she "quit" (resigned).

Just a thought. If, as I expect, it'll be two defeats in a row after the next round of PL matches (Man City), we could well be in the bottom three by then. Sweet dreams. #nufc
