Spent the past months getting my board game state calculation library to work with my move and game state shorthands.

Wrote a lot of unit tests for it to ensure it supports all the variations and I’ve setup a simple web api to handle requests to it.

Working on a single player library now.

Why has KPOP Demon Hunters television coverage been so lacking so far?.. The movie and OST are topping charts, breaking records and YouTube is filled with interviews, reactions etc , socials are flooding with positive reactions.

Yet not a single Late Night Show has covered it..

What a missed opportunity…While KPOP Demon Hunters is a Sony production that took 5 years to a release no one had the foresight to invest in a video game to ride its popularity upon release.

Now companies are rushing to secure the rights while the hype is still high.. 😔

Turned out my GameBoard class didn’t have a SetBoard function so I spent today adding that.

Needed to use that function to populate my board from a GameState instance that contains the gameboard as an integer array and the current player.

Finished the 8th week of my trial period in the new position.

Most of the focus was on Salesforce trails this week. Completed an elaborate developer beginner trail which covered a lot of different topics.

After completing it I continued with admin oriented trails.

Added support for parsing my board game’s move notation to the class library.

Moves are parsed from a string using RegEx pattern matching.

I then derive Command instances from those moves so it work well with my board game move processing.

Did more code optimizing today. Got rid of all the warnings and made the code a bit more robust in terms of avoiding Null references.

Co-pilot was a good help again.

Now that the warnings are gone I can try to setup a game board and pass a move to it 😶‍🌫️

Removed all of the compile errors from my BoardGame Class library today with a bunch of help from co-pilot.

Most came from Debug.Log’s that hadn’t been changed to Debug.WriteLine yet so those were easy fixes.

Added Somnio Noctem to SmashEurope’s website today.

Wishing the team the best of luck with this Major near Amsterdam at the H20 Esports Campus, hear it’s going to be quite special 😶‍🌫️

Finished the 7th week of my trial period today.

Was a short one since we had a company meeting and outing at a zoo and restaurant on Monday.

Didn’t have any coding tasks so focused on learning developer basics in Salesforce.
July 16, 2025 at 4:47 PM
Started converting game state calculation code from my boardgame to a custom c# Class Library.

I’ve been meaning to decouple the code from Unity3D dependency for some time so this seemed like a good approach to do so.

Finished the 6th week of my trial period today.

Finished displaying the Rasci-role table on the process website plus some other tweaks. Co-pilot helped figure out some of the sorting algorithms.

Displaying the table in a razor file was pretty straightforward.

Finished my 5th week of the trial period in the new position today.

Swimlane didn’t require anymore changes so was asked to render a rasci-role matrix in a table. Different tab for the same process.

Made some content updates to SmashEurope’s website. Added two events and Serbia as a country with community links.

Updates went pretty fast but I uninstalled some Xcode folder last time and those apparently contained the git install..

Had to reinstall that folder 😅

Finished the first month of my trial period at the new position today.

Going pretty well, pretty much done with the code for the swimlane that visualizes company processes.

Cleaned up and polished the code today.

Finished my 3rd work week of the trial period at the new position.

Got quite far with the dynamic svg swimlane. Got nodes positioned properly and lines connecting them.

The swimlane also has input and output nodes that have horizontal line connections to the activity node.

Don’t have Switch 2 but got to try the new Mario Kart yesterday at a friend’s. Very enjoyable so far. Had to get used to the new jump mechanic, seems you can do bunch of cool stuff with that.

The online knockout mode was super fun. Managed to win once and get top 5 a few times😎

Spent most of the day sketching figures from reference today.
Having more fun with it drawing an interaction between two people. More interesting gesture and playfulness to them.

See my Instagram stories to check out the results 😊

Today was the end of my second work week. Got about 70% done with rendering the work process swimlane as SVG.

Was hoping to finish it but ran into to many bumps due to inexperience with dot net MVC and umbraco and rustiness in c#. But a good learning experience.

Started my trial period at a new employer this week. Working 3 days a week so today was my last day of the first week and it went pretty well.

It’s a position as Salesforce Developer. I’m new to Salesforce but was offered a chance to learn in the position which is encouraging and I’m thankful for.

Bought FF XV on sale this week and have been having a blast with it so far. Love the feel of cruising with the car with the gang as the story gradually unfolds.
