Last week in a virtual #gongfucha session (talking quality tea!), I was SHOCKED to learn someone else on the call named their cat Laphroaig.

Said goodbye to another pet the other week. Miss her a ton. She would have loved saying "meowdy" on the sesh.

Made "crying tiger" steak.
But not before macing our entire house because I forgot to de-seed the chillis. Not what the "crying" was supposed to be 😆
On top of the re-done sauce (green) is the "murder sauce" (dark).
Twas tasty. And kinda digged the murder sauce.

Hot pot is my *favorite* food. Especially with extra chilli (love that our local place, 99 Flavors, has a whole jar just labeled "capsaicin").
The best part is the #noodles soaking in the flavor finale after the lamb, bok choy, mushrooms and fish balls had their turn.
