It’s been the greatest joy of my life to be a dad to two wonderful kids. I’ve enjoyed every moment- the laughter, and smiles, as yes, even the worry and tears. I wouldn’t trade a second of it for anything. I look forward to being surprised and delighted by them for as long as I’m in this world.

The No Kings protest march was much larger than anticipated here in Bishop, CA. For a population of 3800 to have around a thousand attendees is really something. Both sides of Main St. were completely filled. People really are fed up.#nokings #fedup #bishopcalifornia #resist

SoCal Edison replaced the transformer at our house this morning, and restored grid power after a raven’s nest ignited last night and knocked us offline.

SoCal Edison replaced the transformer at our house this morning, and restored grid power after a raven’s nest ignited last night and knocked us offline.
A raven’s nest caught fire, and burned up the Edison transformer to our house. Power was out overnight, but our solar and battery allowed us to still take showers and proceed normally this morning. SCE fixed the transformer this morning, so we’re back on grid.

A bird nest on top of the transformer next to the house caught fire. Luckily, it’s raining, so the embers from the nest didn’t cause a wider brush fire. Power is currently out until SoCal Edison can come out to replace the burned equipment. #sce #transformerfire
