When I took the history reporter job, I told my editor I would never "both sides" the Civil War, Confederates or slavery. I never did.

But here, ChatGPT (pic 1) has turned my work (pics 2,3) into whitewashed pablum and put MY FUCKING NAME on it.

I am livid, I am shaking. I don't know what to do.

I use this platform to speak out against AI, but some things are going to change. I still believe since AI is a product, and it is a product, not a tool, that it must be regulated like all products. But I will be focusing on other things. Want to read more, go here:

OpenAI, in an NPR interview, pretends stealing people's data is like borrowing a library book, and Deepseek stealing their data is never returning a book. Unfortunately for OpenAI, it's the same thing. Tech companies must get consent and pay compensation!

UK Public survey on AI & copyright. Please give feedback. The UK government is leaning toward allowing tech companies to freely use copyrighted material to train AI models unless creative workers and companies opt out. Opt in works, Opt out is an inherently broken system.
