The run up to the Perseid peak was not good. However last night I got one good fireball spectrum showing the typical characterisitics of the Perseids. Strong ionised Ca and ionised Si and H emission.

Payel's last paper was about another case of missing stuff, in this case Europium. There seems to be a gap between Eu/Fe at similar Fe/H in the most massive Local Group dwarfs and the Milky Way. An increased production from delayed sources could solve it. 🔭
