This is such a stupid rant but one thing that gets me about every bubsy project since the original SNES is that they seem to forget that bubsy was like a SNES game trying to Sonic the hedgehog but more aerial and I've never seen that design enter the space. 4D gets close but its more mario odyssey

Also ill be developing Project Name Rats more especially in november as well, I'm hoping to get a prototype focusing on a vibe that feels like space hulk but with more complicated/immersive dungeons like system shock but lovecraft with characters and exploration more like SNES eye of the beholder

Dungeon game will be reforged into a less spagghetti monster nightmare for a more relaxed november game development month jam. Im not sure how much time ill actually have for it with new cat coming, tournament prep, and physical therapy, but i can at least shoot for a similar prototype.
