HELL YES
Women know what hides in the shadows. Horror fiction is our arena. We express our fight to survive in every plot twist, every heroine's journey where we save ourselves, every scream into the void. Who’s more qualified to craft nightmares than those who stare them down?

I am so ashamed of this country😡
Shocking.
Me, a public health person, just sitting over here reflecting on the fact that the US has experienced a 7% increase in infant mortality post-Dobbs.

Like, do you realize what that says about this society from an ethical perspective? That we made policy choices that caused this?

Truth
Monthly reminder: Many people have a book in them, but it takes a special kind of freak to leave the Land of Laziness, cross the Plains of Procrastination and Insecurity Mountain, find the Blade of No One Made You Do This, and use it to cut your chest open and yank that book out.

Onion I ♥️ you so much
Also, part of the reason we did bought InfoWars is because people on Bluesky told us it would be funny to buy InfoWars. And those people were right. This is the funniest thing that has ever happened.

This is pretty cool. If you’ve ever dreamed of sending your name on a spacecraft headed for a moon of Jupiter, now is your chance!

There can never be enough indie bookstores, and this one is going to be top-notch. Can't wait to see it in person!
Over $6,000 now. THANK YOU SO MUCH! That goes toward the cash register & POS system. We appreciate you all. And don't feel bad if you can't donate. We appreciate the sharing & enthusiasm, too. As I said, we've sunk our savings into it, as well, so it's all good. But yes, donations are very welcome.
Our GoFundMe is almost to $6,000. Thanks to every single one of you for the outpouring of love and support! It's a scary thing to take all of your retirement savings and invest them into something. Your donations help cushion that anxiety quite a bit. <3 www.gofundme.com/f/brian-keen...

In the 1950s, the US National Park Service acquired M27 recoilless rifles from the military.
Their stated use was to trigger controlled avalanches, but a recent analysis of ammunition purchases shows they used many times more rounds than necessary.
The NPS was hunting something.

This jerk has been attacking my windows every day for two months. You're supposed to block the reflection to stop this behavior, so I did. But then he just moves on to a different window. He never stops. He is insane.

Hey loves! For the next few days this creepy collection of stories about nature (but not as you know it) is completely FREE on kindle. Fans of NoSleep might recognise a few, like 'Foliage' and 'Black Sand.' Also giant murderous spiders, weird eggs.

Happy spookies!
